Postpartum Doula Care

Service Description

*Limited to clients within a 20 minute range / Typically reserved for birth doula clients based on availability* A postpartum doula is there to support the family after a new baby is born. Services include, but are not limited to: help with self-care and recovery, postpartum comfort measures, infant care, parenting information and assistance with learning to feed and take care of your baby, problem solving and referrals, older sibling support, as well as other practical services around the home (cooking, laundry, organization). -Our postpartum care window begins on baby's birth date and extends for 6 weeks. -I will be available to you by phone and text message at any time (within reason!). My general response window will be from 9am-8pm seven days a week. I'll do my best to respond in a timely manner. -We will collaborate to find a visit schedule that works best depending on the circumstances of your healing and lifestyle. On average, you can expect 2 visits per week ranging in length from 2-4 hours. I usually reserve Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for postpartum care.
